Was the Fritz that we see now the"Directors cut?" And how did you land on Fritz voice?

I was working low budget animation – there were no first or second cuts = there was only one cut – I considered it a very good cartoon and wasn’t in the mood for nitpicking – there was no $ to fix anything – I said what I wanted and moved on to HEAVY Traffic – all this artistic changing, and note taking and nitpicking by directors today at studios is something I didn’t have the pleasure of doing.
Fritz’s voice was an actor that came in and had such a naturally phony voice – I used it. Very shallow. He also had red hair- it was fun to work with him.
