This type of thread is on a lot of different boards that I visit. Basically, you just post the song you are currently listening to if you are listening to one. Basically, you just post the name of the artist, a dash, then the song title. The main rule is that you don't post two times in a row. Don't post until someone else has made one. Also, feel free to discuss the songs that you are listening to. If someone is listening to something, and if you want to know what it is, talk about it.

Nobukazu Takemura - Sign (Japanese Edit)

Moderators, if you don't like this thread. You can trash it. But, I think its a fun little idea.

What's not to like?

Ministry - Lay Lady Lay (cover song)

My wife loves this song. I can't get her to listen to too much other Ministry though.

I can't help but think of David Bowie's vocal production techniques from Heroes, when I hear this song. Very poetic in its power and tone.

KaFIR - For All Those Forgotten Moments

This is my friends IDM stuff from Japan. Pretty good if you are into that sort of thing. I know the name might seem weird, but hey.

Ministry is tight. Although, my favorite album is the first one. The one that is all new wavy and stuff, haha.

KaFIR - Pu-Er-Blends

KaFIR is one of my good friends. He makes IDM and Hip-Hop music. Pretty good stuff. I know the name sounds crazy, and most people think of the racial slur that it stands for in South Africa...but he meant to use it as the arabic word for infedel. Heh.

I think... "The Life in Pink". (This is based off an IMDB translation of the title Ma Vie En Rose )

Hope This Helps,

Brother Rabbit

P.S.

Common Sense - Electric Wire Hustle Flower

The Mothers of Invention - Cruising For Burgers

I love this song. It's on the Uncle Meat album. My CD version has this wonderful echo throughout the whole thing, unlike the vinyl, which was very stark and almost percussive-sounding. I really like the echo's effect on the acoustic guitars and Ray Collin's vocals. A lot of folks hate the Uncle Meat CD release, but I think it's great. Also listen for that echo on "Mr. Green Genes.

Talking Heads - No Compassion

I just figured out, this song sums up my life.

"Other peoples problems, they overwhelm my mind.
They say compassion is a virtue, but I don't have the time.
My interest levels dropping. My interest levels dropping."

Great lyrics...
