The Lord of the Rings

Ralph Bakshi has created a rich interpretation of Tolkien's classic saga--an interpretation that caused great controversy among fans when it was first released. His uninhibited use of mixed styles of animation and eclectic imagery continues to be debated among animation devotees. Ultimately, Tolkien's narrative may have been too complex for any single film to do it justice, but this is still an ambitious work, well worth seeing. 133 minutes.

During the creation of The Lord of the Rings, as with most animated movies, some material just couldn't fit for various reasons. Some of this film did not get produced correctly, or there had been bad animation. Other various material might have been just scene's that after review, did not flow with the storyline and therefore was taken out. Either way, this material is one of a kind.

As more material is found it will be added to this page. Enjoy!
