In 1981 Ralph Bakshi directed this ambitious allegorical tale about four generations of fathers and sons - using a retrospective of American pop music. The film offers a soundtrack loaded with the likes of Gershwin, Porter, Brubeck, Dylan, The Doors, Hendrix, The Mamas and Papas, Pat Benatar, Lou Reed, Bob Seger and many more. 96 minutes.
