Hey Ralph,
Your paintings blew my mind as much as seeing Heavy Traffic & Coonskin for the first time on the big screen. I just finished the book and it was long over due, but then again it came at a great time to include the paintings in there.
I hope you liked the postcard I gave you. Its a character from my comic called "Space Funk". It meant a lot for me to give that to you and finally meet you.
I don't think I would be as diehard with my art and not be afraid to give my all if it wasn't for watching your films when I was a kid. I wore out a couple of the vhs tapes.
I hope to meet again.
